Many Volunteer Opportunities Available!!!

We have over 350 players in the KYSO Rec program this Spring & WE NEED YOU to help us make it a successful season for our young players.

There are many Board positions available that require just a few hours commitment per month (more during the soccer seasons), plus a few volunteer openings that need just a few hours per year!   None of the Board positions operate completely independent of the others --  we collaborate to get things done so do not be worried that you do not know what to do.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:  Jen Stoll  email address:  volunteer@mediacombb.net

Please check this page weekly as the season nears because specific volunteer  jobs will be listed and may change each week. Once you complete two volunteer hours you will receive a voucher to be redeemed for your $20 volunteer fee on the last two weekends of the season.

Two hours of volunteering by parents makes a HUGE difference to everyone who runs KYSO so please consider helping out this year!

In consideration of the many hours that board members spend year-round performing their duties, the Board decided at the January 2010 meeting that children of active Board members in good standing will now be allowed to play in the recreational program at no cost to the Board member. At this time, we only have a few Board members who actually have children still playing in this league, so the benefit will not be felt across the entire Board but will hopefully prove to be an incentive to bring on new members. Since other positions may become open for the Fall, please make inquiries if you are interested in any other area.

Thank you for your support of KYSO!
