KYSO provides Big Rock, Elburn, Hinckley, Kaneville, Maple Park, Sugar Grove, and Virgil, Illinois youth with recreational soccer opportunities.
KYSO has approximately 50 recreational soccer teams for boys and girls ages 5 - 17 (U5 - U17) and teaches soccer through the use of smaller teams and fields, maximizing participation by all. U5 plays 3v3, U8 plays 5v5 and other age groups play 7v7 or 9v9.
The Club also performs player assessments to create fair and balanced teams that gives players the opportunity to develop with other players of similar skill.
Player training is supported through KYSO's partnership with Waubonsee Community College's soccer program with WCC players working with our players and volunteer coaches on skill development.
The program allows young players to learn and enjoy soccer in a positive and fun environment, in their own community with the same children with whom they go to school.
